My journey with Intent Talent deeply roots itself in Ikigai. Derived from the Japanese concept, Ikigai represents the essence of our reason for living. For me, it encompasses the intersection where passion, mission, vocation, and profession harmoniously unite. Founding Intent Talent has become the embodiment of my purpose and my driving force.
I started my recruiting career at Google, supporting various business units including software engineering, site reliability, and tech-business operations. At Google, I discovered my passion for developing strategies and solutions to tackle intricate hiring challenges. I facilitated 5x organizational growth, devised programs to retain and attract elite engineering talent, and substantially improved hiring efficiencies. My experiences at Google highlight the significance of intentional scaling and collaboration in solving complex problems.
Following my extensive tenure at Google, I transitioned to Facebook with the purpose of establishing the Data Center organization from infancy. During this time at Facebook, I played a crucial role in expanding our Data Center Leadership teams, resulting in growth from six sites to a global presence of 15 data center sites. Facebook is where I learned how to build, develop, and grow at hyper-scale.
From the outset of my career, I’ve felt immense fulfillment in cultivating meaningful relationships and fostering the advancement of both individuals and organizations. Because of these encounters, I discovered my own Ikigai: founding an organization dedicated to fostering purposeful connections and intentional growth.
